Strengths: Uses balanced, choppy settle steps into his block. Clear processor who's able to adjust assignments on the go. Punch-ready hands on a wide base in pass sets. Maintains poise & feel for rusher during scramble situations. Looks out for both gaps and helps the man next to him.

Weaknesses: Labored and heavy getting into pull-blocking duties. Allows pass rushers openings into his frame pre-punch. Average athleticism to mirror athletic interior rusher. Needs to slide feet rather than reach to squeeze A or B gaps.

Score: 6.23 (Will eventually be an average starter) Next Gen: 80 (Good)

Comp: Andy Levitre

2021: 1st All-AAC, 48tckls/13.5TFLs, 6.5scks

Combine: 4.88s 40, 30"vert

Strengths: Good explosiveness off the ball. Can torque, turn & toss opponents. Uses a fluid spin counter to disengage from run blocks. Violent slaps & sliding feet help clear the edge. Ability to swim past blockers for a quick win. Searches for blocker's edge rather than sitting on a block.

Weaknesses: High-cut with tightness in his lower body. Too gradual pressing and shedding the block. Frenetic & lacking desired body control. Manhandled by double-team blocks. Segmented rush lacks a threatening flow.

Score: 6.29 (Will eventually be an average starter) Next Gen: 68 (Average)

Comp: Jalyn Holmes

Slick, strong & speedy after the catch. Football IQ to make adjustments when the play breaks down. Adjusts to 2nd-level targets and can deliver a jolting block.

Weaknesses: Desire to finish blocks needs to be cranked up. Needs to add snatch-and-drive block sustain to his portfolio. Occasionally loses focus when working over the middle. Late to activate catch-ready hands out of breaks. 1st-and 2nd-level routes require better salesmanship.

Score: 6.10 (A good backup with the potential to develop as a starter) Next Gen: 77 (Good)

Comp: Delanie Walker

Weaknesses: Below-average instincts and recognition. Loses track of the ball to the QB. Miscalculates proper depth from zone. Inefficient paths on the throw & below-average hands. Seemingly disinterested in quality run support.

Agility to make blocks in space and recoveries in pass pro. Quick, choppy slides in pass sets & mirror. Access to sudden redirection to catch incoming twists.

Weaknesses: Needs better pass-set depth to prevent early turn. Impatient & lurches with outside hands. Plays with vulnerable outside hand and mushy inside post. Base can get too wide upright at punch point. Needs more seasoning with angles & landmarks.

Score: 6.23 (Will eventually be an average starter) Next Gen: 76 (Good)

Comp: Austin Jackson

Isaiah Spiller RB (Texas A&M) 6'1" 215

2021: 2nd All-SEC, 179att/1,011yds, 6TDs, 25rec/189yds, 1TD

Combine: 30"vert

Strengths: Runs with oily hips and good pad level through the carry. Effective reading & processing for interior lane choice. Balance allows for cuts in downhill slalom. Toggles between patient and urgent when needed. Lateral acceleration to successfully bounce runs wide. Elusive on the 2nd & 3rd levels. Very good scan-and-slide to meet incoming blitzes.

Weaknesses: Running style lacks tempo and rhythm at times. Average vision when run is spilled wide. Some inefficiencies getting into his cuts. Needs to lock into finishing mode sooner to add contact yardage. Loose with ball and targeted for forced fumbles.

Score: 6.23 (Will eventually be an average starter) Next Gen: 76 (Good)

Comp: Rashaad Penny

James Cook RB (Georgia) 5'11" 190

2021: 113att/728yds, 7TDs, 27rec/284yds, 4TDs

Combine: 4.42s 40, 33"vert

Strengths: Instinctive processing comes naturally. Runs with rapid feet and forward lean. Can make drastic path alterations with hard cuts. Patient behind his lead blockers. Used out of the backfield as a pass-catching mismatch on LBs. Steady hands with ability to run a route.

Weaknesses: A passive run finisher with disappointing contact balance. Collapsed by moderate contact as an inside runner. Does not offer value near the end zone. Will struggle against NFL blitzing LBs in protection.

Score: 6.15 (A good backup with potential to develop as a starter) Next Gen: 77 (Good)

Comp: Darrynton Evans

Nick Cross S (Maryland)  6'0" 212

2021: 66tckls, 3scks, 2FFs, 3INTs/5PDs

Combine: 4.34s 40, 37"vert

Strengths: Plays the role of enforcer in the middle of the field. Races forward and explodes into WRs. Good ball focus & tracking over the top. Size & strength to stay tight to TEs inside the route. Very quick to pounce and tackle in space.

Weaknesses: Needs to keep feet active when gathering to tackle. Becomes a drag-down tackler at times. Hip tightness limits agility laterally. Doesn't drive in with playmaking angles on in-breaking routes.

Score: 6.28 (Will eventually become an average starter) Next Gen: 68 (Average)

Comp: Kamren Curl

Trey McBride TE (Colorado St) 6'3" 249

Hands are big, efficient & sticky. Hand strength to finish catches through heavy contact. Athletic run-after-catch talent.

Weaknesses: Ducks head into contact as a run blocker. Inexperienced as an outside zone blocker. Needs better physicality inside his route. Has tendency to slow feet through ball-tracking downfield. Allows too much trespass into his catch space.

Score: 6.31 (Will eventually be a plus starter) Next Gen: 85 (Good)

Comp: Austin Hooper

Perrion Winfrey DT (Oklahoma) 6'4" 292

Combine: 4.89s 40

Strengths: Explosive hips shoot him into the neutral zone. Power to pop & knock back a move blocker. Keeps working though the whistle. Consistently urgent pass rusher. Violent hand swipes clear the punch. Upfield power off the snap can key a bull rush.

Weaknesses: Failed by slow reaction time to the snap. Limited quickness due to tight lower body. Plays with narrow, linear movements. Pass rush lacks athletic counters. Not an edge-to-edge rush threat. Poor balance & body control through punch redirection.

Score: 6.23 (Will eventually be an average starter) Next Gen: 70 (Average)

Nik Bonitto EDGE (Oklahoma) 6'3" 248

2021: 39 tckls/15TFLs, 7scks, 1FF, 1PD, 3rd All-American/2nd All-BIG 12

Combine: 4.54s 40, 35.5" vert

Strengths: Quick, athletic & agile from anywhere on the field. Change of direction and burst to pursue & tackle in space. Slippery to slide off a block and make a tackle. Menacing edge-to-edge foot quickness. Counters come instinctively. Bends & flattens around the corner and into the pocket.

Weaknesses: Gets himself swallowed & sealed in contain duties. Needs to keep his motor turned up away from the ball. Below-average speed-to-power conversion. Hands lack power to grease the edge. Redirect punch knocks him off of a light base.

Score: 6.33 (Will eventually be a plus starter) Next Gen: 74 (Average)

Comp: Vic Beasley

Brian Asamoah LB (Oklahoma) 6'1" 228

2021: 2nd All-BIG 12, 90tckls/4TFLs, 2FFs

Combine: 4.56s 40, 36.5"vert

Strengths: Quick read and react in early stages of the rep. Reads his keys & recognizes misdirection in the run game. Full-throttle trigger to disrupt blocking scheme. Movement is athletic and easy in coverage. Able to expand coverage area from zone. Should shine as a kick-and punt-cover talent on special teams.

Weaknesses: Inefficient movement and false steps are part of the package. Needs to play with control & patience in scrape mode. Takes inconsistent angles to the tackle. High entry point into contact leads to broken tackles. Occasional coverage bursts can be frustrating.

Score: 5.97 (Average backup/special teamer)

Comp: Kamu Grugier-Hill

John Metchie WR (Alabama) 6'0" 195

2021: 2nd All-SEC, 96rec/1,142yds, 8TDs

Strengths: Experience running a pro-caliber route tree. Route instincts unlock additional moves to get what he needs. Snaps off route breaks at crisp angles. Good downfield focus and ball-tracking. Works his way back to the ball on hitches, drive routes. Talent to add yards after the catch.

Weaknesses: Suffered Achilles tear in December. Average release speed into the route. Lacks explosiveness to separate out of turns & stems. Pre-break head turn has become a route tell. Suffers from focus drops as a body-catcher.

Score: 6.18 (Good backup with the potential to develop as a starter) Next Gen: 79 (Good)

Breece Hall RB (Iowa St) 6'1" 220

2021: 1st AP All-American/BIG 12 OPOY, 253att/1,472yds, 20TDs, 36rec/302yds, 3TDs

Combine: 4.39s 40, 40"vert

Strengths: Gets around the field with good bend & balance. Recognizes lane development before it happens. Sets up 2nd-level trackers to fail. Patient behind lead blockers, steering them into defenders. Powerful base absorbs contact and stays on his feet. Drops pads & hammers through tacklers while falling forward. Set of skills to become an above-average 3rd down option.

Weaknesses: Runs like he's pacing himself. Not very shifty to elude early traffic in the backfield. Jukes himself out of balance. Average quickness & burst to outpace LBs laterally. Will need to play faster and more decisively against NFL speed.

Score: 6.38 (Will eventually be a plus starter) Next Gen: 99 (Elite)

Comp: Matt Forte

Martin Emerson CB (Mississippi St) 6'2" 201

Combine: 4.38s 40, 34"vert

Strengths: Scans and picks up run lanes in any direction. Feet are fast & agile in tight quarters. Impressive body control and change of direction balance. Able to create something out of nothing. Instinctive to square pads against tackles on an angle. Transitions into accelerated, powerful finisher. Yards after contact will continue as a pro.

Weaknesses: Not a naturally and trusting decisive runner. Quick to get away from the play design without a clear point of entry. Prematurely searches for cutback opportunities on backside. Allows leakage in pass pro due to failure to square the blitz.

Grade: 6.35 (Will eventually be a plus starter) Next Gen: 79 (Good)

Comp: Willie Parker
